Visa & Entry Requirements
All international travelers (except Indian nationals) require a Bhutan visa before arrival.
You must apply through a licensed Bhutan tour operator or travel agent. Once your trip is confirmed, your operator will process your visa with the Department of Immigration.
A visa approval letter will be issued, which you must present at the airport. The actual visa is stamped on arrival.
Requirements include:
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Confirmed tour itinerary
- Passport-size photo
- SDF payment
- Travel insurance (recommended)
